Thecynicssaythecollegestudentsarethepamperedlostgeneration,whichwouldcringeattheslightestdiscomfort.Butthecynicsarewrong.ThecollegestudentsIseeareeagerlylearningabouthowtoliveindependently.Wehelpeachothercleanthedormitory,goshoppingandbargaintogether,andtakeparttimejobstosupplementourpocketmoney.

Ascollegestudents,weareadolescentsatthecriticalturningpointinourlives.Weallfaceafundamentalchoice:cynicismorfaith,eachwillprofoundlyimpactourfuture,oreventhefutureofourcountry.Ibelieveinallmyfellowclassmates.Thoughwearestillinexperiencedandevenalittlebitchildish.Ibelievethatwehavethecourageandfaithtomeetanychallengeandtakeonourresponsibilities.Wearepreparingtoassumenewresponsibilitiesandtasks,andtousetheeducationwehavereceivedtomakeourworldabetterplace.Ibelieveinourfuture.
