1.Analysisoftheteachingmaterial
本课内容是外语教学与研究出版社，三年级起点，五年级下册第二单元LifeintheArctic的第二课时Thepolarbear。这个课时以chant的形式，描述了北极熊的几个动词短语：jumpinthewater,swimacrossthelake,walkthroughthesnow,runupthehill。同时要注意动词单三形式的搭配与使用。
2.Analysisofthestudents
五年级的学生在学了两年半英语的基础上，已经能够对一些话题进行简单的谈论和交流，这一课时又是以学生喜欢的chant的方式来呈现他们喜欢的动物thepolarbear，因此能极大的激发他们学习的热情与积极性。但同时，五年级的学生已经产生了害羞的情感，对于能够开口说唱，动手做动作可能会放不开。

Step3Practice
(1)（整体呈现歌曲，并第二次听录音学唱）学生边唱边做，并配以节拍和动作。
(2)第三次听录音，并请同学上来展示动作并学唱。
(3)不听录音，整体唱一遍并配以动作。
Step4Production
(1)（在课堂开始之前，就给每个小组发了一张LifeintheArctic的paper和若干北极动物动作的卡贴。在整堂课中，如有同学回答对问题，便可以为小组获得一张卡贴。）在学完整首chant后，请同学们拿出每组的卡纸和获得的卡贴，制作自己的chant.
(2)制作之前，PPT呈现并为学生讲解一个范例，并提供可能会用到的词汇。同时强调使用单词的正确形式。
(3)小组合作制作chant,老师展示自己的chant,并给小组成员以指导。
(4)完成之后，请小组推选同学上台展示并朗读。
Step5Progress
播放小视频，让学生了解北极熊的生活现状及所面临的威胁，并让学生从身边的小事做起，节能环保，为爱护动物做出自己的一份贡献。
